| Principle of Operation |
| BTA / Ejector Solid Drilling is a high speed and high productive operation and is used in case of drilling deep or drilling tight tolerance holes. It is used in case where the hole requirement is from fl 2 mm to f64 mm Higher than that, BTA Counter Boring is used. Since BTA uses the technique of detachable heads, they can be filled to special pipes and used for drilling upto 400 times the drilling diameter. The coolantflow in BTAsystem IS very unique to the system. The coolant enters in a unit called Pressure Head and flows on the annular area between the drilled hole and the outer diameter of the tube, while returning it carries the chips and flows out from the inner diameter of the tube. In Ejector Drilling, the coolant enters through the annular area of the outermost tube and returns backthrough the inner diameter of the inner tube. Typically a Hole Tolerance of IT9/ IT 10 IS obtained for a surface roughness of N5/ N6. |

At Paras we offer a complete solution in form of Tailor made BTA/ Ejector Solid Drilling machine. Tailor made fixturing for rigid clamping of the various components and for error free location and repeatability. POKA-YOKE on the critical aspects of the machine to ensure error free running. During Design stage, various TPM/ TQM, Quick Setup change and Loading / Unloading factors are considered to reduce the waste time and thus decrease the FTF time.Various sensors are used in the process to prevent tool breakage or tool wear or other factors which govern the quality of operation. The components like sensors, ball screw, controls and others are decided keeping in mind the customer's consent for the same.
Depending on the usage, machines are so built to fit in a Produclion line or work as a stand-alone machine. |
| Other Features |
| High pressure coolant tank is essentially needed to pump in requisite amount of cutting oil. Adequate filtration and chilling ensures that pure, chill coolant is re-circulaled in Ihe system The chips and muck produced are transported to the chip bin by conveyors and chips chutes. Oil in the chips is extracted before it falls inio the chip bin by a centrifuge. |
